Description: The Wayne County Airport Authority (WCAA) plans to host an outreach event in advance of issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) in October 2026 for Janitorial Management Services. The anticipated scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) – Evans Terminal: Janitorial Management Services for public areas of the Evans Terminal, including the terminal concourse, hold rooms, ticketing lobby, public restrooms, Federal Inspection Site (FIS), baggage claim areas, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security checkpoints and offices, and Ground Transportation Center. The anticipated scope includes approximately 450,000 square feet of interior space and 90,000 square feet of exterior space. Detroit Metropolitan and Willow Run Airports – Non-Terminal Facilities: Janitorial Management Services for non-terminal facilities owned or operated by WCAA at Detroit Metropolitan and Willow Run Airports. Facilities will include, but are not limited to, the Public Safety Building, Fire Stations, Airport Maintenance Complex, Airport Authority Administration Building, Central Deice Pad Building, and McNamara Ground Transportation Center. The anticipated scope includes approximately 320,000 square feet of interior space and 47,000 square feet of exterior space. All proposals will be received, reviewed, and evaluated in accordance with the requirements, specifications, and evaluation criteria established in the forthcoming RFP. Additional information, requirements, and supporting documentation will be provided as part of the formal solicitation. This RFP will be posted to the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) website https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn/wayne-county-airport-authority, and will require electronic submittals via the MITN website. Description: Bids are being solicited for a contract to supply the parts, materials, and components used by the Power Systems Department for the maintenance and repair of existing HVAC units, enabling the Department to maintain system performance, minimize downtime, and address equipment failures. The contract will also cover the supply of replacement parts for defective or end-of-life HVAC equipment, motors, and related parts.
